Mariella Nilsson

What a fun reaction, you had me laughing non stop! The peyton hate, and you were so into The story, Great rection!

Heather

Jamie is named after Haley. James is her surname.

This is an interesting episode as a Leyton fan because I think the writers did a genuinely fantastic job of making Lindsey really likable. We do care about her and we do want her to be happy with someone else lol. I also love that she is the one that called it off. I really wish that the writers had done more to show that Lucas was conflicted, I feel like he doubled and tripled down so much in his relationship with Lindsey that it will make anything that he does in regards to Peyton seem kind of half baked. The comet flashbacks were great as was the family stuff with Haley and Lucas. The show almost never puts them together like they used to so that's always nice to see. Not sure why you were shocked to see Karen again. Don't you think it would have been even weirder if she didn't show up for his wedding? Steven hating Peyton is fine, most people do. She is an acquired taste. As far as polling for worst character, I think it may be Lucas or Mouth. I'm glad the nanny Carrie storyline was short, she grates on the nerves. I don't think there is much more to Brooke coming back to Tree Hill. She hated living in New York and running the company under her Mom. I think she's just looking for connection and direction at this point. I do wish her advice to Peyton had been different. I do think it matters that Lucas said I do.

Peyton literally does nothing all episode except go with the flow... "You're trash, she's trash. She is the worst. Husband stealer'. Good lord!

I'm just glad that it was Lindsey that was the one to call off the wedding. She was empowered in that moment. Love kept making her stay despite her intuitions about Peyton and Lucas but when she read the book and saw the car it was more hard evidence vs just thinking maybe it's all in your head. It's easy to make excuses and thinking you're just being silly, but when you see something like that, you know. I'm glad Peyton didn't speak up or that Lucas didn't leave Lindsay at the alter. Also, I love that you predicted the kidnapping even if Dan didn't kill her like you thought.

"Aw, that's sweet. You're lying to yourself but it's sweet of you to say." Steven, I'm living for that realism. Cackled at this 🤣 I'm not sure I quite follow the logic of hating Peyton (or Rachel) in this particular situation. Neither Peyton nor Rachel did anything to screw up Lucas/Ross' weddings. They did that all on their own because they rushed into another relationship with a poor unsuspecting woman who genuinely fell for them yet were unaware that they're the rebounds these guys refused to acknowledge as just rebounds. Didn't Ross propose to Emily like a week into their relationship or something? Can't quite remember...And Lucas basically wrote supposedly another love story about Peyton right before his wedding to Lindsey. Not sure if he's in denial himself or what's happening in that head of his, but that's not the behaviour of someone who is 100% over Peyton. Luke AND Ross both were too emotionally invested in their exes and not invested enough in their fiancé's and that's why we're here. I'm glad you said Luke’s shitty, though, cuz HE IS. They started OTH with Luke as the "good brother" and he's been harping on that high horse for all 5 seasons so far and it's getting old when he's fucking up worse than Nathan most of the time since probably halfway through season 1. It's why I don't agree with what you said about Luke and Peyton being better apart and being annoying together. When they're together it's okay. It's meh. When they're apart, there's literal carnage everywhere. Innocent people get in the line of fire. It's just irritating. Lindsey: It was a comet... Steven: What's happening? 🤨🧐 Lily: *gives Luke a flower* Steven: NO HE DOESN'T DESERVE YOUR FLOWER! Steven: (sees Dan outside the motel) Oh nooo! Well, fuck you Dan, but oh no... That had me ROTFL. WTF this reaction is HILARIOUS!

LEYTON🥰, even in this episode when Peyton did nothin wrong, you’re stilll calling her trash etc…can’t wait for s6 lmao just so I can laugh at you 😩

cil

it was pretty obvious the wedding wasn't going to happen but i thought lindsay being the one to call it off and leave lucas at the alter made it less predictable and worked better story wise. but yes you are correct...lucas intentionally writing the story about the comet KNOWING comet is the name of peyton's car -- and then swearing up and down that the book isn't about peyton makes him look like pure trash and a terrible person tbh. and while peyton didn't technically do anything wrong in this episode... i think it was kind of rude of her to show up at the wedding at all tbh. especially sitting right there in the second row lol. i know she was invited, but she could've easily turned down the invite. i haven't seen this episode since it originally aired. im a lot older now than i was when i watched it back then and i have a completely different take on the nanny carrie storyline now. before i thought it was really intense/dramatic. now i think its comically bad and over the top and i actually found myself laughing at a lot of her scenes in this episode lol. overall they pulled out all the stops for their 100th episode. it was a wild/entertaining ride in the messiest, most unintentionally funny way possible lol.

I find it really fascinating how you still hate Peyton's love for Lucas even though she has done nothing wrong all episode lmao But yes Lucas's behavior here sucks, as we've said a lot. And if you're looking for worst One Tree Hill characters lists, he'd be pretty high up there.

Amy

The OTH sub on Reddit did a character ranking thread months back. Of the core 5 characters, Brooke and Nathan were numbers 1 and 2 for favorite characters. Then Haley 3rd, Peyton 4th, and 5th being Lucas which I fully agree with lol

emily ღ

i love how oth is supposed to be "lucas' show" but collectively as a fanbase we're all like "nope. it's nathan's now. you go sit down."

Heather

My order has Peyton 4th and Lucas 5th. Different top 3 order though.

Amy

Exactly Emily lmao. I was never a fan of Lucas tbh.

Amy

Same Heather, my order would be Nathan, Haley, Brooke, Peyton, and Lucas.

Jeremy Burch

My order would be Haley first, then Nathan and Brooke almost tied, then Peyton then Lucas far, far, far away from everyone else on the list. Haley's first mainly because she's connected to music storylines and I've always liked music related things. Peyton is also highly involved in music storylines, but she's also involved in Lucas storylines, so she's still at the bottom of my list.

Heather

That's my order.😊 For me, Haley has some of the best relationships with other people and she has good individual storylines as well. Also, her growth isn't as obvious as Nathan or Brooke's, but I love her understated and underrated arc. They were able to do with her, what they weren't with Lucas. Take a "good" likeable character, have her make a mistake that made her unlikeable to many and have her bounce back (by learning and acknowledging her mistake) and be likeable again. Lucas never recovered from his season 1 mess.

thisismaria27

I agree with the reddit order: Brooke > Nathan > Haley > Peyton > Lucas. Honestly if we're counting all characters Lucas wouldn't even make the top 10.

thisismaria27

I agree with you, Lucas is behaving like a moron here. As for why Peyton was there, I think she was trying to show that she is supportive of Lindsay and Lucas now and trying to make amends.

cruzinbosco

Everyone has different tastes. My order would be Peyton, Brooke, Lucas, Haley, Nathan. 🤷‍♀️

Deon

This was hilarious! Loved it. I too never understood the Leyton help, now rewatching as an adult - I dislike it more.

JMH vlogs

she didn’t have any hair dye so she went to the store to buy some, hence why she left jamie alone
