okay. i saw the title, got very excited, shouted "i strangled him - his body's decomposing in my locker," and then promptly remembered that's a DIFFERENT inspirational high school movie. but i love joe clark too.

Great movie. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Joe Clark just died recently in 2020. He has said that the movie is 95% accurate. I was in high school in NJ in the 80s and I remember hearing about him, the crazy principal who carried a bat around school.
