i binged it and i thought it was good! it definitely could have been a lot better though. i hope it gets picked up for a s2 and they make the old cast more involved in the story

As of now, I just finished with episode 4, so I can't say hit or miss yet. I do agree with you though on the original cast. I hope to see more reactions to this though.

The nostalgia factor was definitely there for me. The pink dress the one girl was wearing was the exact same one I wore at my high school graduation in June 1995, so props to the costume department on that one. I also loved the addition of the ugly shag carpet on the stairs, very 90s. The new kids are younger than the original cast, other than Mila Kunis were (the rest were all around college age playing high school) and I think it shows a little in their performances at this point, but if they pick up any further seasons they're only likely to improve.

oh! btw jay is known for his role as ricky in the nickelodeon tv show "nicky, ricky, dicky, and dawn" (2014). I don't know if you've watched it, but the show was very popular when it came out, so you might've seen promotional photos or clips of it.
