Ghost Adventures did a Lizzie Borden episode... maybe that was the episode you saw. The story of Lizzie Borden wasn't that she killed her entire family, she was tried and acquitted for killing her father and stepmother when she was 32 yrs old. The jury was convinced she was innocent and a traveler had done it. It was the 1890s, evidence was not a thing to really go on back then. Some say she did it because Andrew, her father, used an axe to murder her pet pigeon. A clear motive was never made. However, jealousy and greed had been spoken by many at that time. That Lizzie was jealous of her stepmother snd fathers relationship, or that she just wanted the inheritance she and her sisters got when they died. In Ghost Adventures they hint at a possible reason Lizzie would do it. The hint was that her father had been sexually molesting Lizzie and possibly even her sisters Emma and Alice and that her stepmother never lifted a finger to help. Kinda like that episode in Supernatural, season 1 episode 14 "Nightmare." There is a poem: Lizzie Borden took an ax And gave her mother forty whacks, And when she saw what she had done, She gave her father forty-one. Well, the report was more like 18 in the back for the stepmother and 11 in the face for her dad while he was resting on the couch. There are pictures, its horrible. Lizzie Borden is just such an interesting unsolved story. There is a movie I keep meaning to watch, Christina Ricci plays Lizzie, and I imagine she did a fantastic job with it. Speaking of Christina Ricci... They have a new show on Netflix, one season and only 8 episodes called "Wednesday." It is for sure a MUST watch. It stars Jenna Ortega... never heard of her before this but she is such a good actress, pulled of Wednesday even better than Christina Ricci in my mind, and I LOVE Christina as Wednesday. So looking forward to season 2, hopefully its a little longer than just 8 episode though, I binged the 8 episodes the other morning.

Jenna Ortega is an amazing actress. She started on disney channel with Stuck in the middle (at least that's where I first saw her) and she did other things, notably playing in "You" season 2 and she killed her role.
