It's a shame that the "twist" of who the stalker is is rather obvious, but it is kinda interesting to watch Lana finally beginning to get close to Clark's secret. Regarding your question about why Lana was shocked finding her necklace in Clark's bedroom: I think it's because when Lana lost the necklace it was a green meteor rock. Now it's been neutralized, so I think the shock was due to, 1, Clark having it in the first place and 2, it having been transformed into a different substance.
