omg thank you for making the tier list and the mention😭😭!!! i agree with you on most of them as well. they have so much potential with a bunch of the characters like tina, sam, mike and puck but don’t really run with it sadly. and i’m DYING at the fact that mr schue has his own category as “what happened?”😂😂 he did go downhill since season 1 tbh. i have a soft spot for finn because in my opinion he made the show and he’ll always be my favorite even though he’s stupid at times, along with quinn and santana my icons.

I Am Not Chamari

When I first watched this episode, I bawled. I know Rachel is unlikable in many ways, but, to me, she was always a sympathetic character. Sure, she‘s over the top and irritating, but that’s kind of what makes her work within the world of the show. I felt AWFUL for her this episode. She actually has been preparing for this moment her entire life, and she put all her eggs in one basket: NYADA. She hasn’t applied to any other school and this was her shot to her everything she’s always wanted and KNEW she would get. And then, she blew it. It really really sucks. “Cry” is one of the most emotional moments of the show, in my opinion. Kurt, on the other hand, was simply at his best. I’m glad he changed his song choice because Music of the Night would simply not be good enough. Your tier list was spot on. There are some placements I disagree with, but nothing that made me angry lol

“Cell Block Tango”, the number the girls performed on the chairs, is from the musical Chicago. The original number is amazing and way more elaborate, but the glee version is so toned down which makes it not as powerful. I strongly recommend you watching the full original number on YouTube. It’s great. At least the girls were hot. Not The Boy Next Door is better than the original I said what I said. Hugh Jackman was great, but his version has a lot more vibrato, and is more laid back than Kurt’s. I really wanted a full version of Music of The Night, since Phantom is one of my favorite musicals of all time, but the little snippet we got was great.

I definitely agree with your tiers. I think most of the characters tho do have atleast one main moment in the show that they get alot of focus but then get pushed aside again. I also wish they had done the whole song for cell block tango

Thank you for another great reaction and for the tierlist. I agree with most of it. Mr Schue has never been a favorite character of mine, so the fact that he has his own tier is great :) Rachel is one of my favorite characters in Glee, but even if you don't like her you can't help feeling sorry for her in this episode. All her hard work and she chokes. But I think that is something that can happen to all of us.

yes, i will openly admit that i don’t like rachel. i love her voice and some of her comments but other than that i can’t stand her. BUT i honestly do tear up when she starts crying after messing up the audition and i do feel bad for it

I'm the same way with Santana. I can't stand her, but I do feel bad for her now and again. :=) and I'm aware I'm in the minority, but I can live with that :=)

I'm playing catch-up with the glee reactions right now, but I just had to stop and comment--and this goes out to anyone into musicals who hasn't already--YOU MUST WATCH THE MOVIE, CHICAGO. As far as musicals go, it is AMAZING. Such a good story and great acting, vocals. Just great all around...
