I'm so glad you decided to watch White Collar finally and things like this ending are part of the reason why.Jaw dropping twist is right! I had the same reaction when I first saw the ending. As far as why Peter was working the case,once Neal came to him with a plausible explanation of who may have framed him it gave Peter a way to keep him out of prison and working together.They said a couple of times how much Neal helped solving cases and as a team they look good which makes the division look good.And yes,Tulane stole the diamond but he also said crimes like that usually have a benefactor that sets everthything up-who he claimed not to know.But of course he isn't going to flat out confess to anything.You are absolutely right when you say there are a lot of moving pieces,this is the case most of the time with this show. That's another reason I love it,it keeps you on your toes.Love your reaction and looking forward to them going forward😃
