I love Taylor. She's so intense, lol. Clearly a rip-off of Tracy Flick from "Election," but I don't even care because Autumn Reeser just plays her so well.

This whole getting kicked out bc of parents thing never makes sense to me. In my country there is a school board with parents/teachers and students being represented, but to be kicked out you'd have to do way more than make a few parents angry. But that's The OC for you .. these rich housewives have a lot of time on their hands so I guess that's where they're putting it .. But if I were Ryan I would get together with Sandy and sue the school for the way that Dean was dragging Marissa .. I mean, there were tons of witnesses.

The kick out actually always made a lot of sense to me. This is a richy fancy ass private school, it makes sense that parents would wanna kick them out. Tbh I don't know if I would want my kid to go to a school were shooting somebody doesn't have consequences, doesnt matter if its outside of school. As a parent you don't take the risk. I'm sure a lot of rich ass parents threatened to pull their kids ouf of school if Marissa would stay. The same parents who donate god knows how much to the school. And the Dean dragging her wasn't the worst we see of him. He is an absolute dick. Ryan punching him is very Ryan. Also let's not forget in how much trouble Marissa got after Tijuana, they wanted her to step down as a social chair. So her shooting somebody was obviously gonna get her kicked out. And I don't see Kirsten as stupid either, she is just too nice and caring, and she lets people like Charlotte get in her head.

I feel like you’re so negative in these reactions 😞 Don’t get me wrong, I want your genuine reactions, but I just feel like you’re not really trying to understand the characters and their actions. Everything they is dumb, stupid, ridiculous, and annoying. You were so positive during the 1st season, but now it seems like you’re just looking for things to complain about. Kirsten isn’t stupid, she’s just a little naive and caring and afraid to let her family down again. Ryan punching the dean wasn’t that ooc, he’s impulsive like that and has anger issues, and got protective of Marissa when the dean grabbed her arm. Not smart, but not ooc for him. And just because you only saw Summer adjust like 3 things on the carnival doesn’t mean that was ALL she did and doesn’t deserve credit. And about Marissa getting kicked out - where do they live? What kind of people live there? It’s in OC in a fancy, rich people community. Harbor is a private school with gossiping Newpsies as parents, people who are very conserned about what people think and likely to freak out over Marissa shooting someone - regardless what her reason was.

Agreed, the storyline was stupid, but she being kicked out because of the shooting made sense to me too. I don't know why Steven is so put off. Never for a second thought it was weird and made perfect sense to me (and I was actually expecting it).

Yeah and money talks in Newport. All the parents are rich and powerful, they started a petition, the school's gotta do something. It's not even the first time in this show.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Rachel Bilson (Summer) and Melinda Clarke (Julie) started an OC podcast together and the first episode is out! They go through the show episode by episode and have a crew or cast members as guests. The podcast is ofc called Welcome to the OC, bitches! 😅

- Marissa getting kicked out makes a 100% sense to me. - Kirsten is not an idiot, I would probably be making similar decisions in her position. It's easy for us to say she should either stay at rehab or go home and not go with another addict. But from her pov it makes sense and feels safe to go with someone who's going through the same thing. - I'm not a big fan of Ryan punching the dean either, especially after having been able to control his anger issues pretty well throughout s2. He did say at the end of s2 that he couldn't do that anymore and was ready to kick Trey's ass, but the circumstances were entirely different. Aand then again I'm sure that whole thing is still affecting him and was part of the reason he couldn't control his anger at the carnival?

- I agree Taylor deserves the spot, but I understand Summer (they've never really liked each other) and I understand the show. And I love to hate Taylor! - I think Jimmy still actually cares about Julie but that's just my opinion. They were married and in love with each other for like 20 years.
