Andrea

That actor at the end was Temuera Morrison, previously known to Star Wars fans for playing Jango Fett (and his clones) in Attack of the Clones.

Magus

I think he mentioned not having really watched the prequels because so many people disliked them? Or I misheard. But yea so all the OG storm troopers were clones of Jango so they all look like him. The storm trooper clones had their growth accelerated but Jango asked for a clone unmodified clone that he raised as his son which was Boba.

I can see Steven shrugging his shoulders a lot this season since it takes storylines from the Clone Wars into the plots

Andrea

Yeah I had assumed he'd seen it because they've seen Rebels (and who watches Rebels but not TCW, lol), but that appears to not be the case. It would certainly behoove them to watch the Mandalore-centric eps of Clone Wars at the very least, as I think that will help them appreciate not just this season, but the plot of the show going forward.

Andrea

FYI Steven/Brian, I know Clone Wars is A LOT to dive into, but if y'all want the Clone Wars essentials to help you fill in the backstories in this show, I recommend watching the following eps: 2x12 "The Mandalore Plot" 2x13 "Voyage of Temptation" 2x14 "Duchess of Mandalore" 4x21 "Brothers" 4x22 "Revenge" 5x01 "Revival" 5x14 "Eminence" 5x15 "Shades of Reason" 5x16 "The Lawless" 5x17 "Sabotage" 5x18 "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much" 5x19 "To Catch a Jedi" 5x20 "The Wrong Jedi" 7x9 "Old Friends Not Forgotten" 7x10 "The Phantom Apprentice" 7x11 "Shattered" 7x12 "Victory and Death" It looks like a lot but remember they're only just over 20 minutes each so they're pretty easy to get through quickly.

Totally agree. Any other time I'd say it's not necessary but Dave Filoni is George Lucas' actual successor for Star Wars. He is making sure the hardcore fans are being taken care of which is why I trust him with the property the most

Good list. But if that seems like too much, at the very least, watch the last 4 on that list. It's only an hour and a half or so and they're the best episodes of the series and would mostly make sense to anyone who's watched Episode III: ROTS since they happen at the same time as the events of that movie.

pretty sure Steven said he hasn't seen the Star Wars prequels
