I really dislike that they're making Lincoln out to be some great martyr that really cared for black people. That man didn't care about slaves and only freed them so they could help the north win. He said that if he could win the war without freeing a single slave, he would.

Not disagreeing with you in any way. However, his vice president and the people he ran against for the presidency were worse and would have done nothing for slavery. Johnson, who took office after Lincoln, gave money to the south so they could rebuild, did not protect former slaves, vetoed the Civil Rights Act of 1866, let former leaders in the Confederacy join congress, and was eventually impeached. So at the time he was seen as a ray of hope to open that door for a better life for former slaves. He had granted them freedom and they hoped eventually citizenship and voting rights.

Regarding her sister: During the original Hindenburg crash, 60 people were supposed to die that didn't. In 1937. They had children and grandchildren and greatgrandchildren that were not supposed to exist. They stand in fron of you in the grocery store which is why you are a minute late and miss your bus. if time travel were real and someone would go back 80 years proably 90% of the people that were alive before would then be gone. Just your parents having sex a minute later would probably let another sperm win and you would not be you anymore.
