Excited to see you react to 24. It's one of my all time favorite shows. A couple weeks ago I was just thinking about how I didn't see anybody doing reactions to it and it prompted me to start a rewatch for the first time in awhile. Already on s5 again.

With what Jack does I think you just missed maybe cause of the subtitles but they showed it on the screen. The agency he works for is a fictional agency called CTU or the Counter Terrorism Unit. This was before Homeland was made but it's kinda like that or like the anti terrorism unit of the FBI. Or kinda like the CIA but can operate on American soil. The first season had started filming right before 9/11 and was airing right after.

Main character is indeed named Jack and he's currently a 'Special Agent' at CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit). The names of the episodes are just the time they take place, 'pilot' was 12am - 1am, so the next one is 1am - 2am. That's all for now and we're all looking forward to your reactions! Im already getting excited remembering things that happen down the line. Great choice

As a rule of thumb make sure you read the writing on the screen as it gives you information about what time it is and locations. You missed in the first scene Kuala Lumpur and CTU, as locations of the towers and Jack's workplace.

This is a kind of a show you need to pay close attention to what’s been said. It’s difficult to do and at the same time make engaging reaction videos. You end up missing a lot. This is a fantastic show, others have already explained what Jack Bauer does. His wife’s name is Teri and it’s pretty clear from the beginning that they are not separating, on the contrary they just got back together. And the daughter, Kim, was lying about her father being dead. The phone call that Palmer got was from “the network”. The woman on the phone even make a brief appearance on a tv screen with her name on it. Palmer calls her by name on the phone.

This show is awesome and througout the seasons it will keep you guessing on who the big bad is, who the good guys are, and what the end goal really is. If you don't pay attention to the dialog, onscreen texts, and scenes, you are going to miss a lot of crucial information. Do yourself a favor and pause the show whenever you need to share information with the viewers or you will be lost. Even if you do that, however, you will still be lost, but not as much.

Which is kind of sad if you're trying to watch it nowadays because it might slightly hamper enjoyment but the premise itself " the real time clock ticking down" is still probably the coolest premise for a show ever.
