Howdy ladies and gents, so it's Halloween tomorrow and with things the way they are in the world not really much we can do in terms of going out. So I thought it might be fun to watch some stuff that might be "scary", well scary compared to the shows I normally watch.

I thought about doing maybe 2 horror movies but movies take longer to record and do reactions for and thought maybe you guys and gals might have more fun if we did pilots to different "horror" TV shows. That would allow for about 4-5 different shows vs just 2 movies. It would mean that the odds of me doing a show you would be interested in vs a movie you are interested in would be higher.

If you guys think a movie would be more fun let me know and we can put a poll up for that.

Below I have put up a bunch of different shows that when I googled them are considered "horror". Please vote for any you would have interest in my reaction for.

If the numbers on these shows are high, the series could be considered to be one I continue once I have finished the current series I'm doing.

 Series Missing

True Blood (Honestly didn't want to do a Vampire shows since I'm already doing two big ones)

American Horror Story ( Wouldnt know which season to watch and I saw Murder House Pilot a long time ago and it wasn't for me)

Grimm (Seems like Supernatural so didn't think it would be about scares and more about the story)

If I have missed any please let me know below.

Hill House first...followed by Bly Manor 😏

Kyle Jordan Ashley Brown

You would love the Haunting series. Well written and great characters.

WarRaven

The Haunting of Hill House and Bly Manor are sooooo good

Siti Dee

Hill House! Please, i've been waiting for you guys to do this 😭

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

I would love to see you react to a movie over any of these shows. I’m not a fan of horror movies, but a few that would be great ideas for you to watch are The Rite starring Colin O’Donoghue (Hook in Once Upon a Time) and Anthony Hopkins, Sleepy Hollow starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci, Practical Magic starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, and The Sixth Sense starring Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osmet.

im just out here waitin for some good ol Smallville

Siti Dee

I see there's Bly Manor in the polls too. It's a good series, but I would highly recommend you to start Hill House first if Bly Manor somehow wins the vote.

adam

The Returned is a stunning tv show! Very haunting

You should just watch a movie. Its not like you are going to stick with the series after watching the first episode. So watch a movie like Scream or something.

In The Flesh is so good and short and I've never seen anyone react to it before. It's created by the same people who made Being Human.

Maria Blauweld

Penny Dreadful 2014 version, not the new one.

emmainkeri

HILL HOUSE!! I've wanted you to react to it since it came out!! You gotta watch the whole thing though! And I swear that show is amazing. Would love for you (both) to watch it alone and piece it all together.

Miriam

Just do a little tvd binge ;D

Hill house and Bly manor >>>>>>

Siti Dee

Yes same! it's gonna be kinda weird saying this, but it would be a dream come true if they both react to it, really lol

If you really wanna watch scary tv show, then I would recommend Scream or A show called The Mist, since I think are the scariest of all those shows (can't say about Hill house or bly manor, since I haven't watched yet). I watched the 1st episode of The Mist and stopped, because after it, I couldn't sleep that night. It scared the hell out of me :-/

I know it has no chance, but The Returned (French) Is absolutely amazing! One of the best foreign series I have ever seen.

In the flesh for sure. It's super underrated. I don't think it will get enough votes. But it's soooooooo good. And I dislike Horror shows, but this one won me over. It's A+ all around. I like Sabrina though. but if you don't want to watch shows similar to the ones you are already doing, this isn't what I would recommend. Cause it's very on the TVD, Btvs, Teen wolf side of tvshows.

I was hoping Grimm would be a pick lol but it’s fine. Fingers crossed for next time :) anyway scream is really good. I didn’t care for haunting of hill house I felt like it just wasn’t scary to me. But maybe revisiting it with everyone will make it scary lol

Scarlett Monrow

How about "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark" or "Adams Family 1,2"?

Haunting of Hill House followed by Haunting of Bly manor

Ghost Mom

yesss, watch hill house please, then naturally you'll have to watch bly manor.

emmainkeri

I gotta check that out, haven't seen it. If you haven't seen the Haunting of Hill House I reeeaally recommend it, it's drama first and horror second.

If it's "for Halloween" I agree that it would be better to be a movie rather than a series. I voted X Files, but I would almost say for that one, don't watch the pilot. Watch maybe "Home" which is considered to be the "scariest" episode and is directed by Vince Gilligan who went on to create Breaking Bad.

Jojo77

The Sixth Sense would be great if he doesn't know too much about it, which I suspect he does. Sleepy Hollow is my go to "Halloweeny" movie, not the scariest but the most autumny creepy. The Craft is also one that not many reactors have done and is a lot of fun.

Nica Marie

If we're suggesting movies, then let me put in my recommendation for The Lost Boys. Humor, suspense and a smidge of gore. Just remember it was the 80s and ignore the hair and fashion.

Zack Meaney

Hubie Halloween 🤣

Twin peaks! It has to be twin peaks!!!!

Evil is a great show, very under rated but Im partial to horror with a religious under tone(like Supernatural) that does its research. A series you dont have mentioned is Slasher, which is also very good horror series in the fashion of AHS in that there is a different story each season. Whatever you pick, Im sure we will enjoy

Jojo77

And your next series needs to be Broadchurch. Not for horror, but just for reaction. And it should be both of you. :)

Stan against Evil!

lovecraft country, hill house, and sabrina are must watches i need these!!!!!!

Andrea

I'm not surprised by the Hill House love, but seeing Sabrina beating The X-Files on here hurts me somewhere deep down in my soul, lol.

Angel Garcia

black summer is actually pretty great and I'm sad it doesn't get enough recognition

Maddie

The haunting of hill house and castle rock are so good omg

AllieDoh

The Haunting of Hill House got more votes than Silence of The Lambs, so I really do hope you'll react to that!

Andrea

I don't disagree with this sentiment, but just FYI, Kim Manners directed "Home." Vince Gilligan wrote a lot of classic episodes of the show (not that one, though), but he didn't start directing until S7.
