The confrontation scene where Jess calls Kilgrave out on what he did to her was so powerful to me. Kilgrave's reaction felt like it was spot-on with how rapists respond to such accusations in real life.

I think what makes this show more compelling for me (not a big fan of superhero stories), is that this one is really a character piece rather than an action show. And it is so well cast and acted by the two leads (Jessica and Killgrave). The rest are also amazing, except for Trish and Simpson for me. I found both performances competent, but they are way out classed by the rest of the ensemble so that I found both annoying. But not everyone can be Carrie Ann Moss. It’s the only Marvel show I’ve watched and I did because I like the cast and I knew that it was more Silence of the Lambs than Spider-Man.
