I love every time you upload Prison Break, can't wait to see you get further into the story. Glad to see you turn around on the season, perhaps in hindsight you'll like the first half a lot better.

Dr. Foppo

The company knew Senator Tancredi had the audio files last. That's why the company killed him (because he was snooping around) and then - via Kellerman - was torturing/questioning Sarah to find out if she knows where it is. Earlier in the episode Kim was informed that Sarah was seen at the Cigar Club. When Kim wondered why she'd go there he was told that Sarah's father was a member and kept a private humidor there. Sarah's father has the nsa audio files hidden somewhere. Sarah then shows up at a private club where her father kept a private humidor. Not really difficult to put one and one together and figure out that that's where he must have put the audio files. So that's why he then showed up there. The fugitives have used "props" many times for situations where they can't do things themselves or for places they can't go themselves because they would risk getting caught. Of course Kim won't think it's a random coincidence that when he shows up, thinking that Michael and Co are there to retrieve the audio files, suddenly Pope - someone who has ties to Sarah - is there at the exact same time. And if Pope really was there just by chance, that's that. Not stopping him from leaving and checking him would be sloppy and if he doesn't have it, oh well. But there is no tactical reason or benefit NOT to check him
