Isn’t it amazing how big a presence Kilgrave can have when he doesn’t even appear in the episode?

I only watched because I read reviews that praised her portrayal of PTSD and wanted to see how someone I was familiar with from a comedy would pull that off. I was blown away and binged the season in a couple of days. It was my first Marvel show and is still one of my favorite seasons of any of theirs (or TV at all really). Phenomenal acting all around.

Yes, I believe you drew the conclusion about Malcolm that was intended. :) I love how unsure you are about Simpson. It's the Kilgrave effect. Can't trust anybody on this show, even the people we like! Jeri is a great character, but a pretty terrible person. Her (ex-)wife is definitely the sympathetic party in that whole scenario, imo.
