Glad to see the MCU reactions are back! I probably enjoyed this one about as much as you did when I first saw it, but for some reason, it's aged fairly poorly for me. The emotional stuff still hits, but I tend to find the comedy more flat and obnoxious in repeat views, plus I'm not a fan of how James Gunn writes female characters throughout his filmography, and that includes his treatment of Gamora here. I also feel like both the character of Ronan (who's much less of a mustache-twirling baddie in the comics) AND Lee Pace, the great actor who plays him, deserved better than the material they gave him, imo. In terms of the early MCU movies with a lot of comedy, I've found The Avengers and Iron Man both hold up better for me than this one. But the soundtrack remains awesome, no argument there! Looking forward to your reaction to the next one. And yes, they definitely tweaked Thanos's look with each appearance. :)
