I give this episode a strong 8. I really like it a lot. Especially the scenes with Gold disguised as Hook. Brilliant!

Just a little fix to your understanding of the episode: the flashback between Regina and Maleficent was way before. This was when Snow was still a child riding horses and earning medals. In the flashbacks Regina isn’t the “Evil Queen” we know, she’s learning how to use magic. Last episode, the flashbacks were supposed to be AFTER the flashbacks from 1x02 “The Thing You Love Most” where Regina steals the Dark Curse from Maleficent. So, Maleficent (Cruella & Ursula) recruit Snow and Charming to find a way to stop Regina from casting the curse (which fails). Hope that makes sense? Can’t wait for more!

I'll give this episode a 7,5. I enjoyed it. While I do like Rumple, I don't like how he continues to treat Belle. Him being disguised as Hook while being brilliant also dissapoints me at the same time. His constant manipulation of Belle is just.. Aaaaaargh! I can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of the season.
