Great episode. Love that Morgan gets a "win" over Anna here. It's so satisfying :). I also really enjoyed seeing Casey emotionally invested in getting Chuck back.

Regarding the Ellie thing, I think you harp on it too much. You have to remember that she is a civilian, she has no idea what is happening all around her, and she could not believe for a second that Casey (for example) would even own a gun, let alone be pointed out to her as a person of interest (haha pun) for the CIA. Also, Justin showed her a badge, and she has no reason to be suspicious of her. Of course, we knowing what we know about Casey see this bad guy from a mile away. But it is completely understandable and believable that Ellie would see a badge and believe it.

I agree with you on both the Ellie thing and the Morgan thing. The writing didn't really sell me on those character choices.

I understand that you have a few problems with this episode, and I think I had some of them myself the first time I watched it. About the Ellie thing, though. If a civilian is shown an actual CIA Badge I think it's quite common to trust them. It might still be abit weird, especially that she didn't talk to Chuck, but to me it still makes sense. I don't think most people act perfectly when they're presented with a situation like that. The thing I don't agree with you on at all, is the end with Morgan and Anna. He may have sucked and had no ambition early on in their relationship, but he changed during it. He moved to Hawaii with her to be a benihana chef, and she left him for another chef while they were there. He had gotten his shit together, and then she left him. She is 100% in the wrong, and it was awesome to see him get closure.

I wasn't a fan of Morgan getting to one up Anna, i've never really liked it when shows do that storyline. I feel like Morgan was mostly terrible during their relationship and she did one bad thing and he gets to have the whole turning her down scene, didn't like that much. As for Ellie, i feel like people usually accept badges when they see them in real like and in many TV shows including this one. In this episode for example when security was trying to stop Chuck and Sarah at the symphony all they had to do was show their badge and security let them through. Also, Ellie was told a lot of lies about Casey from Chuck and Awesome, that made her not like or trust him very much, and then she saw the many guns he had hidden in his apartment. I think it makes sense that Ellie would believe the guy with the CIA badge over the weird guy she doesn't like very much with all the guns.

It's like some people above say. You have to think that Ellie is a civilian who already thinks Casey is a bit weird and strange. Justine showed her a badge and gave her an easy target (Casey). It is easy to imagine that someone would fall for that.

Also ... Chuck punching the guy is a bit strange and far fetched, but i consider two points: 1. That he is desperate at that moment, and 2. that if you punch someone hard enough, chances are that if a tooth falls out it could be the fake tooth.
