One thing that I heard someone say about Parks and Rec that really put the show into context for me is that it’s like a like action cartoon. And that Pawnee is like Springfield on the Simpsons. So many wacky side characters that make up the towns residents and can come in for an episode every now and then. Someone like Joan or Dexhart can pop in and be ridiculous and over the top like that. To me it’s the best description of the show and explains why there are so many over the top characters. Pawnee almost doesn’t feel like it exists in the real world.

I love Andy and April. That little look she gave the camera after she was hanging out with Andy is just so aihfojpids. It's really adorable. I can't wait for next week's episode because it introduces one of my favorite Parks and Rec character. xD Thank you for watching and sharing with us!
