Yay so glad this is back! A lot of people have compared this show & Mass Effect. This season just gets better and better. I think you have a pretty solid grasp on the politics even though it doesn't interest you much. Everything is connected in this show and the details are important. I love Naomi & Holden together. I think that they built that relationship up perfectly. Amos is different. He's not crazy in my opinion, it's like Naomi said he needs someone to guide him. Also neither Bobbie or Amos have super strength they are just really strong people lol. Amos is an Earther and Miller is a Belter who is recovering from being exposed to radiation so it was easy for Amos to take Miller down. Can't wait for the next episode its amazing!

Always glad to see another Expanse reaction! And I'm glad to see the introduction of another one of my favorite characters: Gunnery Sergeant Bobbie Draper! I may have misunderstood what you meant when you said "Mars is liveable," but the dedication of Bobbie and the other Martians to terraforming Mars is due to the fact that Mars is not liveable, except under pressurized domes or outside in a vac suit. The atmospheric pressure on Mars is less than 1% that of Earth, there is almost no free oxygen, and the temperatures are typically near 100 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. They want to terraform the planet to create an Earth-like environment to support a larger population.

Based on what we have seen and how he explained the world to both Holden and the Spy when Martians were going to board, he sees the world in 3 ways. People you listen to (at this point primarily Naomi), people to protect (his crew), and people who are your enemies. If you attack him him, he puts you down. There isn’t malice or hate there, just absolute resolve. Once attacked the only way to ensure you win is to eliminate the threat. Notice he gave Miller a chance, he warns him. He also didn’t initiate combat, just responded to threat.

There really isn’t any super soldiers, Bobby has good genetics and has trained and conditioned herself. Amos is just a tough Earther. In show an average earther should be both physically stronger and more resilient then an average Martian, thinks to development under Earth’s stronger gravity. And even stronger against the average belter as their gravity is even less then Mars. Martian soldiers take drugs to strengthen bones and train under gravity similar to Earth so they would be able to fight on Earth if they had to. Amos should easily be able to take down Miller. In a fair fight Holden should be able to easily take down Miller. The Rosinante runs normally between 1/10 to a 1/2 earth gravity. Under full gravity Naomi wouldn’t be able to work or move around, it would in time kill her (Miller as well).
