Damn, this scene was sooo long ! x') Thankfully this kind of cringe tends to disappear with the seasons

I don't get how no one saw Derek and Scott on the rooftop. They were right at the edge, lol. But I guess we're supposed to just believe that they're *that* inconspicuous. I think the "did you have a baby" was a nod to the "16 and Pregnant" show that was big on MTV at the time. There are a couple of times this season they make callouts to other MTV shows. I'm glad they stopped that. And yeah, she's a sophomore like the rest of the high school cast members. That's another reason why she's embarrassed about her age. Stiles asking Danny if he finds him attractive is a call back to the previous episode where he was asking if gay guys find him attractive (because Danny pretty much ignored him at lunch) and Danny is the token gay of the show for the time being. The scene with Lydia in her bedroom is a bit problematic to me. She was drugged off her ass, wearing skimpy pjs and her mom just let some "random" guy into her room (her mom has no idea if Lydia really does know Stiles, especially after she asked "what's a Stiles?"). Then Stiles was totally ready to take advantage of the situation until she called him Jackson. IDK. That was just cringe and creepy af. Scott not answering his phone is probably one of the most annoying things of the series. That and the general suspense the show likes to build when you're just like "GO!" "Do something!" That's the good kind of frustration, though. I truly wish Stiles sent that image to himself before deleting it. That would've been so smart. Also, he totally stole Lydia's phone lol. There's a lot of backstory between the Hales and the Argents. A lot. I guess Derek stopped because that's his family home. He grew up there, so many memories in that home, and I want to say he was still living there when he came back, so he has no where to go. There's more I want to add, but no spoilers from me. I really love the parent-teacher scenes because it adds more depth as to why the characters are the way they are, especially Lydia and Jackson. Yeah, there's so many issues with the parking lot scene. So many lol. The length of it, Allison running backwards in front of the car while Scott is running towards her, the mass chaos of everything running, the music, the last minute of staring at each other lol. So, June 5th is the 9-year anniversary of the show's premiere and there's going to be a charity live show. I'm actually going to be able to talk to the actress who plays Lydia and Allison as well as another character who enters later in the series the week before for another virtual comic con event so I'm pretty excited for that. Yeah, the main viewers of the show were high schoolers around the same age of the characters (and middle schoolers) so I feel like a lot of the director/writer choices weren't the best. They were trying to find their footing, I guess? I started the show when season 3 was about to air on tv so I had my issues with the first two seasons (mainly with the way Scott and Allison get into this little bubble while the world is on fire lol) , but re-watching it after the series finished, I find more and more issues/frustrations, nothing that makes me want to *not* re-watch, but enough that I'm just cringing through it. Thanks for another great reaction and I'm glad you're still pushing through! Derek and Stiles is what sold me on the show when I first started watching and it can only go up from here for them and everyone else. Can't wait for the next episode, which is the half-way point of the season! And I know you have a bunch of shows on your plate, but if I could suggest another show to check out, it'd be "The 100," which is a sort-of post-apocalyptic, science-fiction drama where after Earth is pretty much destroyed by nuclear power, everyone who survived moved to space stations. Tthree generations later, resources are depleting and in hopes to find a solution, 100 juvenile prisoners are sent back to Earth to test its habitability. The final season (season 7) is about to air on tv so this is a pretty good time to start it. If you're looking for another good comedy that has depth I'd recommend "Schitt's Creek," which just ended after 6 amazing season. It's a riches-to-rags story starring, created, and written by Eugene and Dan Levy. Basically, a wealthy family lose *all* of their assets, money, etc, except for one thing--a small town called "Schitt's Creek," which they bought as a joke. Now they're forced to live in the small town's run down motel and figure out where to go from there. Aaaand, I'll always recommend "Community". (I totally be willing to sponsor the watching either or all of these shows, btw).

I forgot how much I loved the beginning episodes of teen wolf. They were really great! Derek is my all time favorite character! I love just about every scene with him in it. Stiles is great also. I had issues with Scott in these episodes, because he just would not except help with his situation. He would have been in serious trouble if Derek wasn't there watching his back. I can't wait for more episodes!

Jackson and Lydia are just toxic for each other. Lydia's mother doesn't know what state she is in, Lydia isn't hiding it. Scott never seems to be there for others, especially Stiles his so called best friend, with all the danger around.
