The Nathan/Simone scene isn't actually that confusing...Peter wanted Nathan to get the painting from Linderman because of his connections to the guy, which he did (there was a whole scene of Nathan talking on the phone with Linderman saying his brother was attached to the painting and wanted it.) He got the painting, but then lied to Peter about it because he didn't want him to get involved. Simone is the one that handles Isaac's art and sold the painting to Linderman. When he shipped it back to Nathan, he sent it to the art gallery (where she's handling things) so Peter wouldn't see it (don't know if that made it more confusing or not 😅) As for the dead cheerleader painting, that was supposed to be Claire, dead. The painting didn't come true because Peter showed up and sent her away/distracted Sylar

The Haitian guy can also block other people's powers. Remember when Parkman blacked out? When he woke up Noah (Claire's dad) and the Haitian were there, and Noah told Matt he wouldn't be able to read his mind while his friend was present. So he can at least alter memories and block powers. In this episode he was there with Eden to make sure Sylar wouldn't be able to use his powers.

Not sure if anyone else has said this or not but Milo (Peter) and Hayben (Clair) dated while doing this show... yes an age difference and yes, playing uncle and niece, but they dated.
