Have you noticed yet how consistently the writers present us with all too familiar story tropes only to subvert them later in the episode? The writers rely on the audience to know all the usual clichés in order to misdirect our expectations. This narrative sleight of hand doesn’t work so well with naïve or inexperienced viewers. I like your reactions, but I'm unable to participate in the poll because I don't care for grading shows on a numeric scale. Keep up the excellence!
