One Punch Man people will refer to as My Hero Academia for a more mature audience, and it both celebrates and satirizes a lot of anime tropes. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is really good and widely accessible, but you may want to hold off since melancholy can be a bit of a recurring theme in it. You could check out and catch up with your brother on One Piece, and turn that into a co-reaction since it seems like you’re enjoying the joint reaction on Heroes. Though it isn’t really based in the strategy or intrigue that I think you’d enjoy, it has positive messages and has interesting stories pop up. I recently (like two weeks ago) watched through a good chunk of Steven’s reactions to it, and maybe having someone else to watch it will help him enjoy it more. You would probably enjoy Bleach, the main character doesn’t whine too much, and he’s not a moron either (looks at One Piece). Death Note is really popular, but a lot of people (myself included) dislike the main character so it may not be great for you right now. _____ Since you and Steven seem to be avid comics fans, I’ll recommend you look into reading a couple of manga. Obviously this is for your own interests, not intended as reaction series suggestions: Detective Conan aka Case Closed. It’s a lengthy series about an exceptionally talented high school detective solving (typically murder) mysteries. The English dub of the anime died young and the anime in general leaned into some minor characters in a way I don’t care for, but the comic itself is still really good. Gantz is a horror series on par or worse than AoT in terms of gore. There are parts where it feels like it lacks direction but it always seems to pick back up eventually. “The manga/comic/books are better than the anime/movie/tv show” is a phrase you hear a lot in geek fandoms, typically for a handful of reasons that can be gotten over in a pinch - If you decide to watch Case Closed instead of reading it, then fine you’ll be ok. But the Gantz anime adaptation is garbage the whole way through. If you don’t read it, then don’t bother with the franchise at all.

Babe, don't feel too bad about what I said. I know Deku leaks more water than a fire hydrant. It was honestly just the body stuff that you should be more aware of. Deku's pain tolerance is RIDICULOUS. He will get better, and I am glad you're still going with it. Don't be discouraged because I got salty.

Second comment after I've watched the episode! Yea, UA is only a high school. It's three years, so sophomore to senior age. Bakugo is the eldest in the class at 16. Deku turned 15 while he was training with All Might. Aizawa, their grumpy homeroom teacher, didn't like Deku at first because from everyone else's perspective, Deku has had this quirk since he was 5 years old, and just hasn't learned how to use it during all that time. Of course, we know different. But a lot of people will put prejudices on Deku because of the nature of the secret. I think one of the best parts of this show is the slow build of talent in the characters. It's very realistic in the way that they usually have to fail in order to grow. It makes each victory extremely satisfying in like an itch-scratching, toe-curling type of way.
