Love this show! A lot people say the first season isn’t great and that it gets better. I actually love S1, but it does keep getting better and better. Maybe that’s because you get more attached to the characters and so much crazy, incredible stuff happens. You will not see most of it coming. This show is very unpredictable. And my favorites are FitzSimmons too. I love them so much! 🥰 They are so cute and funny and brilliant and amazing. I could say a lot about them, but I won’t because obviously I don’t want to spoil the show for you. I love “Skye” too, and Coleson, and May, but FitzSimmons really make the show for me.

My least favorite show that Joss is a part of. I went in expecting an excellent show like the every other Joss show. I got something that looks like the writers were controled and their best ideas tossed by higher ups. Dispite my high expectations being crushed I finished season one. That was enough mediocre TV , so the rest of the series was a hard no.

for the record, after season 1 this becomes a whole different show, season 3 - 5 are epic. I originally stopped near the endd of season one but based on blind waves love of it gave it a second chance a few years later, and I am so glad i did

Is anything like the other Joss shows? What show would you compare it to? I have particular tastes and I'm not going to waste my time on an average show like Charmed, Stargate, or Grimm.

It is a strange show to get into, as it doesn't just get better pretty much every single season but it becomes a very different show as well. The first series is good, but people expected something different. Which is silly, as it was advertised very early as exactly what it ended up being. They didn't trick anyone, people just ignored what was being said and expected something completely different. Then once people watched it and it was somehow not what they expected, even though they had been told what to expect, a lot of people decided it was not good. It very much is still good, but it is different to what it becomes and it gets a lot better.

As for Mike being shot, Fitz and Simmons were working on a non lethal option. Remember early on they were discussing the night-night gun? They brought it to Ward and that's what Ward ended up shooting him with rather than his rifle.
