I don't think producers planned for Trickester as Gabrier from the beginning, because, I think, it was supposed to be a one time appearance by Trickster in Tall Tales. But everyone really loved the character so he was written into the show.

This was brilliant! Just not enough Castiel, haha. That guy says more with just his eyes than about any actor I've seen. The highlight for me was the writers actually creating an 80s sitcom theme song. Perfect.

YAY!!!! I loved this episodes. Supernatural does a great job with breaking the fourth wall don't they? My favorite part of this episode was Gabriel. The character is just so spot on and his acting was phenomenal. Thank you so much for posting all of this great content. Because of the Coronavirus and Self Isolation, the only thing left to do for fun is binge watch. I got so excited when I kept seeing notifications popping up! Keep up the great work. They never intended for the Trickster to really be an archangel. This is an example of retconning that works seamlessly without destroying what has come before. Love the tis5 and especially this episode.
