I don’t think Damon in the first scene here was reeeally into it - to me he looked kinda shocked, a little bit scared but a little excited as well. Like WTF am I getting myself into 😳

This episode shows that the comment made by Stefan in the last episode regarding lies and trust were in fact a red herring. Damon didn't betray Stefan, Stefan promised Damon he wouldn't tell their dad and did. It's understandable why Damon doesn't trust Stefan. Stefan also mentioned that when he let his guard down Damon did something to make him regret it. Often there are two sides to a story and Stefan only knows part of the truth. Would Damon have hurt Elena? He wouldn't have killed her, but he would've turned her. He was disappointed in her because he had a higher opinion of her. He doesn't have high opinions of many people because they usually disappoint him, but he does with her. And it's not because she looks like Katherine. Great reaction, looking forward to the next one.

Okay - so I don't know why, but many people seem to think Stefan told their Father about the Vampires; this is false. I've no clue why others insist on saying this when Stefan showed NO signs of actually telling Him. It's literally shown that their Father already knew about Katherine, if anything, just needed a way to draw Her out. You could potentially argue that Giuseppe had a theory and tested that out on His own Son. Still, make no mistake, Stefan NEVER actually told Him anything: I'm not sure why the Show is trying to make us believe this. Anyway, glad you're enjoying the Series - stay safe.

Damon was READY to just jump right in and be a vampire forever with Katherine, wasn't he? It makes me sad cuz Giuseppe treated him so badly that he didn't think twice about essentially dying. It's also always been super weird to me that neither Stefan nor Damon felt jealousy over sharing Katherine. If it were me, I'd be grossed out and pissed. I get that Stefan was compelled but Damon?? He was just fine with it?? Even if he felt that Katherine loved him more, Stefan was still WITH her. How does that not bother him?
