Davros is the creator of the Dalek race. There was one story with the Fourth Doctor and Sarah-Jane Smith where they met Davros when he was creating the Daleks. The serial is from 1975, called Genesis of the Daleks

Sarah-Jane's 1973 introductory episode (back then with the Third Doctor) was also the introduction of the Sontarrans (the clone race from the Atmos two-parter). It was called The Time Warrior.

As you correctly remembered, Sarah-Jane got her own show called The Sarah Jane Adventures. It was aimed at younger children (keep in mind that Doctor Who was always aimed at children, just older ones). They re-introduced the Slytheen (the farting aliens) but made them more kid-friendly than in their Doctor Who episodes). Later on in that show The Doctor (not saying which one) also visits the show and the companion before Sarah-Jane, Jo Grant, takes also part in that mini reunion. Unfortunately, Elisabeth Sladen has passed away in 2011.

My only issue is how they introduced Davros, not the reveal that was handled very well, just the who his character was before they bring him in. They had 4 seasons to talk about him at some point.

This was actually the very first ep I ever saw of DW. All my internet friends were freaking out (i think it was a weekly broadcast back then so the wait for the conclusion of this ep was epic) and I knew nothing about DW. So I just jumped in and started with this one lol. I remember being very confused about the robots with plungers. Then I went back to 1x1. Looking fwd to next ep!

Quick continuity: Harriet Jones stated that the “subwave network”, used to communicate with all the companions, was created by the “Mr Copper Foundation”. Davros is the original creator of the daleks. He shows up in classic who a bunch of time. Hes the one who created the dalek race after his planet was flooded with radiation from the war. Hes fully insane, basically like a dalek but w emotions

Loved your reaction to this one. I've been looking forward to this story arc. Poor Harriet Jones, but she died a hero. And Rose--finally finding the Doctor only to have this happen. This episode gives me all the feels.

I'm a bit late to the party, but Big Finish (who make officially licensed Doctor Who Audio Dramas) actually covered what Rose was up to in a recent story, and how she searched for The Doctor leading up to Turn Left. The story is called "Rose Tyler: The Dimension Canon", and it's a really good listen!
