Cas did say in the beginning that he was possessing someone. He said "He's a devout man, he actually prayed for this". I really enjoyed this episode, makes you realize how the experience can be for these people being possessed, whether it's angel or demon. Thank you for the video, looking forward to the next :)

This was terrific. Love Jimmy/Cass backstory. I'm thinking Cass got in trouble w/Heaven for helping Dean on the sly in ep18. You're right, it seems like Cass was brought back for some 'reeducation' after drawing outside the lines Heaven established. Anna was terrified of going back to Heaven - perhaps she was high enough in angel hierarchy to know the same thing was in store for her? ... Since Sam is a straight-up addict, it makes sense he's not his usual patient, understanding, sensitive self. He's jonesing and can only think about his next hit and angry about everything else until he gets it. The intervention was a great ending and surprise. What's it like to come down off demon blood?? How are they going to wrap up Lilith/the seals/addiction in just two more episodes?? Can't wait to find out.

Clearly Sam is addicted but at the same time, even if he wasn't... him drinking the blood to be able to free the mom and not have to kill her would have been the right move, no? It's why I figure Dean didn't just stab the previous lady and let Sam try to take her before they realized he didn't have the juice to do it, I guess Dean just wanted to try to save the possessed lady. Honestly that's one of the few negatives I have with the show, the difference in what they're willing to do to save someone from episode to episode. Sometimes they slash and blast through innocent possessed people in instances they could technically free and save them instead (not when facing big groups obviously but other situations).

Misha Collins (Cass) is a great actor. It's refreshing to see him get a chance to do something other than the standard Castiel.
