Mystery spot is one of my all time favourite episodes. The comedy in the first half was just brilliant and so funny (for my understanding even though we didn’t see Dean die after Sam discovered the trickster, Sam just waited for Dean to die, knowing it was going to happen just like the hundred times before). The second half is just heartbreaking. A gut punch moment for me was when Sam is eating dinner in the motel after Dean dies and he is staring across the table with a hard look on his face. If you follow Sam’s gaze, he is staring at a cheeseburger on the other side of the table, meaning that he is ordering his dead brother food, which I find heartbreaking. Also the bit with Bobby/Trickster when for a second he doubts himself that he may have killed Bobby instead, and then when he is begging the Trickster to bring Dean back and his voice breaks on the ‘please.’ Great acting by Jared. FYI, the gag reel on this episode was great, especially where the boys are trying to speak at the same time ‘Sam Winchester wears makeup’ etc. Such a great episode!
