i dont think its just the charachters of Marissa and ryan that are uninteresting, I think they are bad actors compared to the others.

Fun facts: Seth is married to Leighton Meester (Blair from Gossip Girl) and Ryan is married to Morena Baccarin (Inara from Firefly). Crazy, right ?

Seth and Summer are definitely more interesting characters to me - I always like the "secondary" characters that end up becoming equal mains because they're just better. Ryan's relationship drama kind of sucks, but I like the family/class struggles he deals with, his relationship with the Cohens, etc.
