I appreciate you continuing this show. I can't vouch for it post-Season 4 but 1-3 are really good (each season gets better imo, 4 is good too but changes direction and tone and I couldn't get into season 5)

I hope you'll continue reacting to TVD. First four seasons are really good! If you like first episodes so much, you'll be in for a treat, since (in my opinion) first 5-6 ep are the weakest ones, then it takes off!

I've watched all 8 seasons, they are for the most part good. There are odd episodes which let the show down, but no TV show is perfect. It does get better, The first few episodes are gradual introductions to the basic myth and lore of vampires. However, their main selling point is the pacing, which is always good. Stefan and Elena have known each other for 5 days at this point. In the show Stefan is 17 and Damon is 25. You will get Stefan and Damon's backstories. It is revealed on a gradual basis. The turning part will be explained, and it is one of the best versions out there. I really hope you keep reacting, I've subscribed to Patron specifically for this show. Stefan and Elena's relationship is important, but not just for the lovey dovey stuff.

I don't hate Vicki, I don't like the character though and I find it really hilarious that I have yet to watch a reaction where someone didn't say they don't like her. A lot of people don't care for Matt either... but I like him, he's one of my top 5, Bonnie and Caroline too.

I haven't seen Vampire Diaries since the first time so it's interesting rewatching it here. I think at this point my least fav character is Vicki, followed closely by both Tyler and Jeremy. I respect Matt for being a genuinely good guy even though it's gotta be tough for him seeing Elena with someone else. I never really thought about how fast Stelena's relationship is moving but it's kinda the trope for teen vamp romance. You meet and BOOM - instant love. My fav character right now is Damon. Very complex character. Very interesting to watch lol
