In my opinion the weakest episode of season 2 of Chuck. I am looking forward to the rest, though! :D.

FYI, 'zihuatanejo' is a reference to where Red heads to after getting out of prison in The Shawshank Redemption.

Chuck vs. the 3D was originally aired in this 80s 3D effect where you had to put on red/green glasses to watch it in "3D". That's why the intro was different, too. Here's what the episode originally looked like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kb5ORBLRpRk

Re. "this feels like a Subway commercial". You will feel more of it, because it kinda is. Subway was a major sponsor of the show and when it was on the brink of being cancelled at the end of season 2, fans stormed Subway, ordered their sandwiches and proclaimed that they were there because of the show.

I just had a major ditz moment when reading your comment. I got confused because I couldn’t remember any redheads in the movie. This is what happens when you do not have enough caffeine in your system.

A good episode all around. Not special but entertaining. I actually was kind glad that they resolved the matter quickly and didn't drag it as most shows do with situations like this.

Best part of the episode is the line "No touching!" from Emmett Milbarge. Directed by Robert Duncan McNeill, also known as Tom Paris from Star Trek Voyager.
