I gave this a solid 8, mostly due to the fun factor and monster-movie homage. I have enjoyed every meta 'we don't take ourselves too seriously' episode. Going to keep my eye out for more eps written by Edlund - I seriously hope there are more!

I used to watch a lot of old B&W movies growing up, but that still didn't get me to love this episode. I just didn't care for the cheesy aspect of the "monster" part. The rest was great.
