Reginald VelJohnson's character name even was Al Powell, so he was exactly the same character as in the Die Hard movies. :-) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1185869/ And of course the "Freude schöner Götterfunken" (Ode to Joy) music at the end as an additional reference to when Hans Gruber's team opened the vault at Nakatomi Plaza.

I just wanted to mention one issue with your new microphone. If you turn a certain way, I can't hear what you are saying. I think that has to do with range but I'm not sure.

This is the first real BIG Chuck episode in my opinion. It's the first proper 10 from me, but not the last. The twist is something I don't think anyone would see coming, and they do it in such a great way. I agree with you that the Nemesis episode of season 1 is one of the other strongest of the show too, but this episode had more tension and emotional punch.

One of the best episodes of Chuck (up till now). The plot, the twist and the ending were amazing. Definitely a 10 in my opinion.
