Not my favorite episode either but still good. Just a couple points. A tux is different than a suit and he was hot. Okay . . . he’s always hot . . . but still. As for the security guards, it was a party for rich people and there are different rules for rich people.

Yep - I agree with you. Not a particularly strong episode. Dean in a tux is smoking hot (or maybe it's not actually a tux - they've just dressed up a jet black suit jacket with a bow tie and fancier shirt with handkerchief detail? Difficult to tell in the lighting), and Sam trying to politely fend off an amorous older lady might not be politically correct but I still find it hilarious. But otherwise, it was a random MOTW, and the way they got rid of the ghost was ???? A little bit of character building for Bella with some kind of mysterious past, but they brush it off instead of making it interesting. I'm sure people will tell you many times that this season suffered from the writers' strike, most particularly the back half (or what would have been the back half if they hadn't had 7 episodes less than they expected). But it benefited the next season, as things that might have gone in Season 3 were moved to Season 4, where they in fact fit far better. So win some, lose some.

BTW: Just a head's up: If you look ahead, you'll notice that this season has only 16 episodes. This is due to the fact that this season aired from 2007-2008 and was hit with the writer's strike. This led to rushed arcs and aborted story plots on many shows. It hit Friday Night Lights in its second season which is why there wasn't a championship game that year. I'm also not sure that this is the reason Chuck's first season only had 13 episodes.

I big disagree. Season 3 is pretty good. One of my favorites actually. It has some of the best episodes, which he hasn't reached yet, but we probably shouldn't be telling him to expect the season to be weak. We haven't even reached the weak seasons yet lol. But it makes the viewer not appreciate the show as much. Anyway just my opinion, but the season is great and the tail end is the best part!!
