He fell for it because he had a Finch crush on her. Lol. Not so objective in that case.

Also...I agree that this episode is more of a bridge to the bigger plots so for me it’s a 7. But the payoff is worth it :)

Actually Finch wasn’t being a moron as you like to say. By this point they were convinced that had evidence that the male Jordan was the drug dealer. Neither Reese or Finch could see what we, as spectators are viewing, which is the less than convincing behavior of the supposed drug dealer and the fact that he would have decide to impersonate one is not so evident. As Reese said, it’s a terrible plan. Plus drugged Finch was very funny and we get a nice payoff in the end with him and Reese.

I also like the introduction of the FBI agents and their investigation about “the man in a suit”. We see a payoff for something that happened in literally the first episode, and everything that happened involving the CIA and Elias, for good measure. The FBI has already figured out that Reese is an ex CIA operative who has been recruited by a third party. They are just wrong about who it is.

A lot of meaning in the title of this episode for our characters. Fusco identity crisis, trying to be a good cop but being perceived as a bad cop and having to pretend to be one to redeem himself. Reese is always questioning himself about his past as a CIA assassin. Carter a good cop, feels that she has compromised her position by working with Reese and Finch. Even Finch, our mystery man, reveals a side of himself under the effects of the drugs. He really really needs a friend.

That was great. I love this episode for the character building and the sense that things are being set in motion (with the whole FBI thing) - I am not mad keen on the case itself, though it had some nice parts to it, but as a vehicle for the other stuff it serves well enough

FYI I can’t wait for the next one!
