Really enjoying your reactions. Half the time, I do find myself wishing that Michael and Maria were the main leads instead of Liz and Max. Or at least, that Liz and Max would develop some personalities instead of just gazing into each others' eyes the whole time and speaking slowly and softly. Yes, River Dog definitely meant that the alien killed Atherton. It would have been easier if he had actually named him rather than calling him "the man", but I guess they felt we needed to have another mystery at this point.
