Oh my gosh... this is such a forgotten and underrated show that I love so much and I am so, so happy to see you are reacting to its pilot episode. And I absolutely hope you will continue to watch it in its entirety. It's one of my absolute favorite shows because of how unique and beautiful it is. I love Lee Pace in this show as Ned. He's so adorable and sweet. And I also love Chi McBride, Anna Friel, Kristin Chenoweth, and Swoozie Kurtz too. The entire cast is amazing, and Ned is my favorite character. Thank you so much!!

Oh... and this show is called Pushing Daisies because the term "pushing daisies" is a different meaning for when someone dies. When you say someone is pushing daisies, it means someone has died. I hope that clears this up for you. :)

Thanks for watching! So glad you enjoyed it. I know it's a little quirky, but it's so much fun. My favorite line is Chi McBride saying "Bitch, I was in proximity!" It makes me laugh every time! I gave this episode a 10 because it's fun and whimsical and does such a great job establishing the characters and tone of the show.

I love this show, great choice Christine. Like Heidi says, it is forgotten. I even forget about it myself. Not sure how because it's so so good.

Thanks to whoever greenlit this! I'm glad I picked the pilot :-)

This is one of my favorite shows and all the things you love about it stays throughout the series and some of the issues you had they address so it totally works.😁😁

Such an amazing show! I remember watching it all when it was on TV. I was so bummed when it was canceled, but what we did get was amazing!

"Pushing up daisies" is an old phrase meaning dead and buried.

I thought the episode was an 8. But when I voted and saw what others picked I gave in to peer pressure hard. OCD is a bitch, couldn't ruin the perfect 100

I remember liking this show but I forgot how much I really loved it. It was one of those rare little unique shows that never really got the credit it deserved.

Swoosie Kurtz, the aunt with the shotgun, has been in a ton of TV, movies, and theater. Most recently on TV, she was the mother in Mike & Molly, but you might know many of her other credits too. Ellen Greene, the other aunt, was Audrey in the movie (and original stage production) Little Shop of Horrors. Anna Friel, who plays Chuck/Charlotte, is British; I'd say her American accent is pretty flawless. And Jim Dale, the narrator, is a terrific British actor; he did the American audiobooks for all the Harry Potter books.
