I think Veronica’s dad is really cool. He worries about her but at the same time he kinda treats her daughter as more like mature. He does try to forbid some things her daughter does but he also makes favours for her and they do cases together. I find that really cool. They have like more than a daughter-father relationship, i think they’re like best friends. The relationship that they have just totally warms my heart and is my favorite interaction in the show. Keith is amazing!

Totally agree with your reasons for your ranking. The only part I kinda sorta liked about the nerd scenes was that they didn't play into the cliche of being stunned by a beautiful girl in a schoolgirl outfit. Even though that's what Veronica was going for they were just like "wtf why are you being so weird and mean." But I love the little glimpses we got into Lily's dad and Logan. All they did was show them be sad about Lily, but that simplicity made it really moving. I didn't really feel the gravity of Lily's death until this episode.

Good reaction. More of this please. I became a patreon for this and Chuck. Keep going!

Great reaction. I loved hearing you explain what you enjoyed about this episode: the characters, their relationships, how Lilly affected them when she was alive and how her murder changed them and continues to affect them. That's why Veronica Mars fans are called Marshmallows. Like KT said, I didn't really feel the weight of Lilly's death or connect with her character until this episode. And Jake Kane weeping made me cry. I really feel the Twin Peaks influence with making the dead girl trope feel less misogynist (it helps that the lead protagonist is female also), but it's still one of my least favorite tropes.

Yes, the crime was lame. But, the process of dealing with the gaming nerds, and all the rest of it was really well done. To me the lame crime was a tiny part of it, probably less than 30 seconds of the show. Otherwise, I loved this episode.
