Just to help you understand better, in both timelines he spends 4 days total in the mansion before hes died on that 4th night. And remember when he woke up that first time and walked in the hallways and went into Beatrice's room then she drain his mana and he passed out, then he wakes up and meets Rem and Ram? Because that why Beatrice remembers him, hes getting reset to that point.
