Ari is my Cat

It's odd how I like these early episodes better on rewatch than I did on first time through them. Daleks were designed on a shoestring budget in 1963. The BBC almost scrapped them because they had strict "no robots" instructions and had to explain multiple times that they were not robots.

Simon Pegg (Sean of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) is in the next episode.

Yes because she travels in time she has some time energy/radiation that it used to heal itself enough to break free.

The dalek was one of the most popular villains from the original classic series so they kept the design because it was so iconic and as a nostalgia trip for those old time fans. The reason the dalek was able to regenerate from rose's touch was indeed because she had been time traveling with the doctor. the dalek explained it after it killed all those soldiers while the doctor watched.

I appreciated this Episode for what it was trying to do. Felt the emotion hit well at times. Why did they have a no robots instruction?

The Daleks are ingrained on the psyche of British children growing up in the 70s and 80s they couldn't mess with them too much

I respect that. Keeping them the same to honor them. The look felt dated but I liked the overall purpose and sound of them.

Paul Gibson

A lot of Dr who villains are rooted in the history of the show so some do have a little bit of dated design

Paul Gibson

It adds to the charm of the ehow

He said that to someone at the beginning of the episode, thats why she was smirking and was focused on, like he gets his just deserves
