Demons Within Update 8 previews: The Commander (Patreon)

Hey hey!

The first preview of Update 8's new faces wasn't exactly obvious, but we had heard mentions of him plenty and I think everyone knew that seeing him in-game was a possibility.

This time, though, we're dealing with entirely new people. A Commander within the Order is leagues above a Captain. This is just the starter sketch of his design, but Blain and I are working to make his uniform reflect his rank and trust me, it will!

This big ol' lion is strict and severe. As a high-ranking Order member coming from the Capital, he demands discipline and good behavior. No slip-ups will go unpunished here and even Captain Garret would have to straighten his back with him around.

The circumstances in which we'll be meeting someone this important in Update 8 are what I will not speak much about, but you'll see as the story progresses how he factors into things!

As advertised, though, this is just the first draft! Blain is working on their final versions and designs and, of course, I'll share it early with you all when it's done alongside more info, but keep in mind that anything and everything is subject to change!

While I'll keep you all updated on these boys as well, as announced in the last devlog, I'm shifting focus to finishing up the writing and coding of the Gunther Bad ending first as an update before we move on to Update 8,  so it's likely that the next preview I'm going to share is going to be more on the CGs regarding that! I know people are eager to see that too so I hope you'll all enjoy it! ;) Real soon!
