Peach and Daisy Marathon Week: Day 7 (Patreon)

It's been a WEEK and our boys are almost done! Honestly, the pants dominated most of the week, but the bodice should come together fairly quickly!

I started the day by finishing up my center panel. I sewed lace alone the gathering stitches and at the top of the gathers, then began working on my sleeves.

The sleeves have been.... a bit of a nightmare. Patterning them wasn't easy or fun for either of us, lol. Making the scalloped trim for them was, though! I think they look SO. CUTE. The lace sewn into the scallops is a very special lave I've been holding onto for half a decade and I'm so happy to finally use it. The little pearls were a pain to sew around but other than that, they came together pretty simply.

The last thing I did yesterday was cut out little football shaped gussets to sew into the armpit of the sleeves to give us extra movement. Hopefully we'll be able to lift our arms!!!

Today is my last day. I leave for the airport ay 7:30. Hoping to get the sleeves on and finish the bodice before I go!
