So this was my very first time ever making REAL gloves with forcettes (the little pieces of fabric on the sides of the fingers) and it was SUCH a massive challenge!

I started with Toriander_c 's glove pattern included in her Angel Crown Sakura pattern that you can find on her etsy. It is SO extremely important to cut out every piece as EXACT as possible and to make and label EVERY mark. It's also VERY important to constantly make sure you're not accidently making the same glove twice which I almost did.

To sew in the forcettes, I had to sew one stitch at a time with an 8th of an inch seam allowance. It took so long and the amount of precision it took is almost unreal. I sewed the forcettes to one side of each finger then folded the glove over and sewed the other side. I had to resew almost all of the seams at the base of between the fingers and the tips of most of the fingers came out wonky the first time.

Gorou's left glove is had the fingers cut at the first knuckle, but I still had to make a full glove first. It's SUPER important that when cutting glove fingers, you draw the lin you you are going to cut around the fingers while the glove is on. You'd think you could just cut straight across, but that does not work. Because the finger holes were too small to sew a hem on the machine, I carefully hand sewed hems around each edge.

They're definitely not the best gloves anyone has ever made and the fingers could stand to be a little tighter, but I'm very proud of them for my first pair.

As always, if you have any questions please ask them in the comments below!
