Well, we have a special guest today! I really enjoyed this one. Lots of fun moments and surprises, too.

I've slowed down on my Buffy rewatch at the moment and just watched Fool for Love over the weekend. I might put it on pause for now, at least until midway through season 6! Which boggles the mind, that we've been here for so long. It feels like it's all gone too quickly, and even Angel will have us in season 3 soon 🥹

Enjoy your week ahead! It's so cold here right now 😭

It has been interesting seeing the occasional 'study' in contrasts and similarities between the human and vampire personalities of an individual. We have seen it explored most thoroughly with Spike, Angel and now Harmony but we have also seen it in Willow and Drusilla (should we count Doug in this episode, too?). Of course, we generally only get to know the typical vampire long enough to see him/her staked. It is always fun to see the vampires as 'people', too.

This is a fun episode, although I kind of dislike that Angel can literally buy back Cordelia's friendship. I thought she grew beyond that. And yes, where *is* Wesley's "sorry you were shot in the gut" bouquet? Harmony is great. She's a fun character, and she's also a great metaphor for the popular girl peaking in high school. Cordelia on the other hand is the popular girl who grew into something more. The contrast is nice.
