One thing I can praise the return of Darla for, is the awesome amount of backstory we are getting! This episode ties nicely into the previous Buffy episode and I was BLOWN AWAY with one thing especially in this one, that I didn't realise in the previous episode. SO GOOD!

I have a few more days off this week and it's been incredible to rejuvenate and also allow myself time to think of my gaming channel and what changes I'd like to make there. I'm excited to get back to recording and trying new things 💜

I'm currently editing the next X Files episode so hopefully that will be ready for Sunday 😸

You know, I believe this was the first time I ever saw these two episodes back to back. They work so well together! You must be the first reactor I followed from early enough to see them together.

Such a great episode! The way it not only gives us more insight into Darla both past and present, and a recently cursed Angel, but also adds to the story in the accompanying Buffy episode is just so good. Nice little cameo from The Master as well. Glad you're enjoying some well deserved time off Juliette. A little break every so often can do us wonders so that's great to hear. Thanks for another excellent reaction and I hope you have a great day. (I finished my playthrough of As Dusk Falls today and am really interested to see how my choices will differ from yours)

I love how the last Buffy episode and this episode are like a "pairing" as you called it. It's basically like a two-parter but on two different shows. Similar to a crossover, but somehow different, if you understand what I mean. I'm not sure if that's ever been done before. (At least not on any other shows I've watched). I prefer the Buffy episode "Fool for Love" over this one, but this is a really good episode as well. Definitely one of the best of the season and the whole show.

I'm so glad you were able to see them together. You can see why they're my favorites. Seeing those events, first Drucilla finding Spike and then the events after Spike killed the Slayer from another perspective were so thrilling.

Great reaction! Yes this episode and Fool for Love compliments each other so well. I think that it was the same person that directed the overlapping scenes during the Boxer Rebellion. By the way Drusilla wasn’t sensing Angel’s fear, she was sensing the missionaries that he just saved.
