HAPPY NEW YEAR! January Update (Patreon)

HEY EVERYONE, I hope you arrived well into the new year of 2024!

I am unfortunately still sick, so I had a very quiet and peaceful evening at home - and I honest to god am completely utterly FED UP with this infection that has lasted a good month now. I have COMMISSIONS to get to and COMICS to finish and AGENCIES to contact, GODDAMNIT!

I wanted to give a small retrospective on 2023: It was without a doubt one of the most CHAOTIC years on this planet I have ever witnessed. But surprisingly, it was still one of the better years I had in the past 6 years!
2023 was stagnant and frustrating, but also spontaneous and surprisingly positive! I sure had a lot of ups and downs this year, but at it's best, 2023 brought me a lot of new friendships and also revived OLD friendships I had believed to be long gone. It was my most social year and I am incredibly grateful for both the community I got to build here on Patreon and the friends I met outside of work!
Especially our community has grown so much closer than the years before. I felt absolutely overwhelmed by your immense support and kindness towards me and it really means the world to me how strong your support is in every endeavor! 

Especially considering that I was sick all month and could hardly update, this usually meant an extreme loss for me in Patrons. NOT this time. This time the majority of you remained and it's such a relief for me, thank you so much for that 🥹😭💖💕

I hope by next week I will finally be fit enough again to start the year at my best and get in the full swing of things!
Another thing I'm very happy about 2023 is how much I was able to express myself creatively. I really hope to continue this trend in 2024 and work on many different things this year and I ESPECIALLY want to continue my search for an agent for my children's book series.  My biggest wish is definitely for the books to FINALLY get republished...

Once I am healthy again, I desperately want to finish my Commissions from last month and finish the final part of Gladions Comic. Once said comic is done, I will have FULL FREEDOM to work on whatever comic I feel like - I have ideas for original comics, Baldurs Gate 3 comics and more EAA Pokemon comics of course - I might jump on a related video for it I had already started working on in 2019. Although I think I will want to finish shorter comics instead, since said video would yet be another bigger project and I feel like I'll need a break from Gladions story for a bit. Whatever it'll be in the end, you'll definitely get to see the progress on it.

Maybe I'll also start to work on a new book, however, that's always a complicated endeavor since I can never share any of my writing here, so I'll have to work on a schedule to work on other visual stuff at the same time to not accidentally fall into a hiatus on here. 

AND I want to make more shorter animation memes for Youtube. Since El's Pokemon so rarely get the spotlight in the comics, it's been real fun to give them more attention with their own short videos on Youtube. Maybe I'll finally finish that orchid animation...

And lastly I want to figure out how to print my fanmade Bella-Sara cards 🤔 I had to find out that said Cards have a special format no card printing agency offers, so I'll have to do test prints at home and figure out how to create a layout for precise two-sided printing...and if my printer is even able to print on cardboard... we'll see how that's gonna work out...

BUT YES, of course health comes first, so I've given myself one more week to take things slow and rest as much as I need it. I really do miss my work though and hanging out with you guys on voice call on Discord, so I hope I can soon revive that again and do my first Livestream of the year.
