[I could only find a weird YouTube video that compiles several scenes, all of them labeled "negative part" for some reason. The relevant one starts at 1:15 and cuts out early, before getting to the part that I personally didn't love quite so much.]

HISTORY:

Reichardt previously placed 14th for Old Joy (2006), 9th for Meek's Cutoff (2011), and 10th for Certain Women (2016). Relative to the consensus, at least, we were underwhelmed by Wendy and Lucy. 

In addition to his two posthumous nods this year (see also #12), Boseman placed 16th as James Brown in Get On Up (2014). The other three actors are new. 

Dan's screenplay for The Unspeakable Act (2013) placed 13th.
