July was crazy, but August is gonna calm down a bit. We'll also be having guests! ...tomorrow! Recommend some 4-player stuff, and even if we don't do it this time, I'll write it down for future ideas.

Vaporous Flame

I think that it’s fair that you are tired, both of you. Moving is difficult and stressful at the best of times and you have the added difficulty levels of your old landlord being inflexible, a wildly compressed timeline and then the distance between places. You’ve done so much so quickly and haven’t really missed a beat on much at all. I’ve been super impressed and it’s no wonder that you are both tired. Also adding to this is having had more First 20’s that in a while I suspect. The bureaucratic stuff can be so aggravating and needlessly difficult even when it should be easy. I moved at the start of the year and I don’t have any of the added complexities of trying to move a business like yourself and there were still problems. The electricity company I had signed with were supplying power to the wrong address and I had been automatically continued on the account of the previous tenant. So I received to wildly different bills when they were due as the wrong address had more people living there. That took so long to settle. I can’t even imagine how hard moving a business across state lines in the US would be. Good luck with it. Billy’s are really nice for book cases and display units. The colours available are often odd. Black is only recently become available in Australia looking on their website and the colours I’ve got just aren’t available any more, navy blue and a burgundy red. I hope you had a great time with Alex and Hayley when they came to visit. Hopefully the house hunting was successful too. It’s always a tricky thing to do, especially when moving a distance. Always interesting to hear about how the partner manager stuff is going and the more technical behind the scenes. How much longer do you have with them? Now I have to see what I can do to get out of working on the day of Extra Life, hmm… Hope you all have a wonderful August.

Teardown solo would be nifty. Just throwing that one out as one of the niftiest 2022 steam releases. Blow everything up for fun

Oh wow, that issue with the electric company sounds like absolute hell. I'm glad you eventually got it resolved, though! Moving is tiring, but it's all the little extra things that you never plan for (like your issue with the electric) that can really pile on the stress. That's wild that black is only now available in Australia! Black feels very much like the default color in my head. I've also never even seen a blue or red Billy bookcase? The colors in the states are black, white, and "birch". We had a wonderful time with Alex and Hayley, hopefully a good sign of things to come as we spend more time in person once they live here. They were able to get a place while here! I'll have more info in the next Patreon video (releasing soon!). I believe I have the partner manager until November, but they're also able to extend that partnership. It's up to them, but they may elect to continue working with us into 2023. I'm hopeful they will! I hope you're able to get time off for Extra Life! I'm really expecting it to be an absolutely wonderful event this year.

Teardown has been added to the solo list! I definitely want to try that game out. Honestly I want to try a lot of games out, so I might need to force a First20 stream back into my life :X
